COMPUCHILD Expands Its Reach in Northern California
On October 1, 2025, COMPUCHILD, a prominent provider of Entrepreneurial STEAM™ after-school enrichment programs, announced the launch of its new franchise in the Northern California cities of Mountain House, Lathrop, and Manteca. The franchise will be operated by local entrepreneurs Ms. Srinivas Babitha Arcot and Ms. Sagarika Patro Anarasi, both of whom bring a wealth of experience and passion for education.
Ms. Arcot, who has spent six years as a preschool director and teacher, is dedicated to giving back to her community. After relocating to Mountain House, she identified a significant need for enrichment opportunities focused on STEAM and entrepreneurship. Her background in Civil Engineering enhances her approach to education, aiming to inspire young learners. "CompuChild not only emphasizes STEAM but also encourages an entrepreneurial mindset, helping children develop their potential in a supportive environment," said Arcot.
Partnering with her is Ms. Anarasi, who combines her scientific knowledge with financial acumen as a Financial Planner. With a Bachelor of Science in Physics, she has been actively engaged in teaching and volunteering, particularly in STEAM-related initiatives. "I aspire to empower children with skills that are essential for their future, such as critical thinking and creativity," Anarasi expressed. "My goal with CompuChild is to create enriching experiences that resonate with both schools and the community."
COMPUCHILD is distinctive in its introduction of the Entrepreneurial STEAM™ concept. It emphasizes four pillars crucial for the development of an entrepreneurial mindset: technology, financial awareness, communication, and ethics. Technology drives innovation, while financial acumen ensures that ideas are grounded in practicality. Effective communication fosters collaboration, and ethics builds a framework for responsible innovation. Through this program, children are prepared to adapt and excel in a technology-driven world.
The new franchise will offer a variety of engaging after-school programs, including robotics, AI-driven video game design, drone programming, and coding with robotics. These programs will be available in various formats, including regular classes at elementary schools, weekend enrichment sessions, holiday camps, and summer programs. The franchise partners also aim to collaborate with local educational institutions and community organizations to increase access and outreach.
Welcoming the new franchisees, COMPUCHILD’s President, Shubhra Kant, expressed excitement about their addition to the family. "With Ms. Anarasi and Ms. Arcot's educational experience and community ties, they will significantly enhance the learning experiences of kids in Mountain House, Lathrop, and Manteca. While we have been serving the Mountain House community since early 2023, local franchise ownership will allow us to expand our services even further."
For more than three decades, COMPUCHILD has established itself as a trusted leader in after-school enrichment. Its recognition as a STEM Provider certified by Cognia reinforces its commitment to quality education. COMPUCHILD’s curriculum encourages hands-on, interactive learning to cultivate critical thinking, innovation, and the development of ethical entrepreneurs. Given the rapid changes in today’s technology landscape, it is crucial for children to not only understand but also engage with the latest trends and tools.
