To mark this significant milestone, AGSW is introducing The Sparkling Summit | The $50k History Mystery Quest—an adventurous interactive scavenger hunt that not only tests participants' knowledge of the event's rich history but also offers an incredible prize of $50,000.

The initiative, presented by Bom Dia, is set to unfold over four thrilling days, engaging attendees in a fun yet educational exploration of the trailblazing achievements and pivotal moments in the LGBTQ+ history of the Aspen Valley.

How The Sparkling Summit Works

Starting on January 18, 2027, participants will receive a daily clue at 8:00 AM MST. Each clue will be made available online at the official AGSW website, allowing contestants to piece together historical facts and participate in this exciting competition.

For attendees who have purchased tickets or passes for AGSW 2027, a complimentary souvenir game deck will be provided, detailing the game rules and instructions. Those without tickets can still participate! They can obtain a game deck by visiting the AGSW Hospitality Suite at the Aspen Limelight Hotel and making a donation to AspenOUT, a local nonprofit organization supporting LGBTQ+ community initiatives.

Final Rush to Glory

On January 21, 2027, the excitement will escalate as the Final Rush takes place. Starting at 3:00 PM MST, contestants must submit their answers at the Limelight Hotel. The first three individuals to correctly answer all four daily clues will earn a spot as finalists for the grand prize.

Then comes the grand finale on January 22, where the three finalists will have the unique opportunity to take the stage during the famous Downhill Costume Contest. They will choose from fifty envelopes containing various prizes, with a thrilling 1-in-50 chance to draw the coveted $50,000 envelope in front of an audience eager with anticipation.
