Exciting Revamp at Little Planet Tokyo-Bay
On July 17, the next-generation kids' theme park, Little Planet Tokyo-Bay, located in Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture, will reopen after a significant renovation. With the concept of "transforming play into learning," the park has been thoroughly reimagined, offering a new dimension of indoor fun for families.
The park has chosen to enhance its offerings with three brand new digital attractions. These attractions leverage cutting-edge technology to provide children and adults alike with innovative ways to engage in play, fostering curiosity and creativity. Families can look forward to thrilling experiences at this upgraded venue.
New Attractions Await!
1. KAKU-LANE: Hide and Seek with a Twist
The park introduces KAKU-LANE, a digital hide-and-seek experience that invites players to dodge the "monster" while quickly moving through three lanes to collect coins. The adrenaline-pumping action promises to create memorable family moments as players navigate through this captivating game.
2. SLASH HEROES: Epic Sword Battles
Transform into a hero with SLASH HEROES, an exhilarating battle arena where participants can become sword fighters on a mission to defeat monsters. Utilizing motion capture technology, players can see their virtual avatars performing impressive moves, bringing an intense sense of achievement to both kids and adults. Special items will also be available to enhance the experience further!
3. DISCOVERY GARDEN: An Enchanting Encounter
DISCOVERY GARDEN takes visitors on a magical journey through dynamic visual displays that respond to movements. As the seasons change, so do the vibrant animations that draw players into a captivating nature experience. This unique attraction allows families to search for hidden creatures, merging technology with the wonders of the natural world.
4. MAZEMON GENERATOR: Enhanced AI Card Battles
An existing favorite, the MAZEMON GENERATOR, gets an upgrade with the introduction of MAZEMON COLISEUM, allowing users to create their unique trading cards while competing in battles with monsters generated across parks nationwide. This addition promises to boost excitement during family visits this summer.
5. PLANET PORT: Revamped Toy Shop
Alongside the park, the toy store is being revamped and will now operate under the name PLANET PORT. The store focuses on toys and character goods curated with a unique perspective that emphasizes discovery and experience, appealing to both kids and "kidults"—adults who cherish their inner child. Special promotions will be offered, including 500 yen discounts for the first 1,000 kids who enter the park on opening day.
This theme park aims to be an evolving hub of play and learning, continually introducing new experiences to spark curiosity and creativity in children.
