BRP Welcomes Denis Le Vot as New CEO

On December 16, 2025, BRP Inc., the renowned powersports manufacturer, announced the exciting appointment of Denis Le Vot as its new President and CEO, starting February 1, 2026. This leadership transition indicates a significant shift in the company’s strategic direction as it builds on its already impressive legacy.

Denis Le Vot arrives at BRP following a prestigious three-decade career in the automotive industry, most recently serving as the CEO of Dacia within the Renault Group. His extensive experience across various sectors and regions—including roles in France, Russia, and the United States—sets a strong foundation for BRP as it aims to expand its global footprint. Le Vot’s expertise in managing global dealer networks and elevating customer experiences will be crucial as BRP continues to solidify its status as a leading original equipment manufacturer in the powersports market.

Barbara Samardzich, BRP's Lead Independent Director, expressed enthusiasm for Le Vot's appointment, highlighting that his familiarity with market dynamics in the automotive industry mirrors those in powersports. She stated, "Denis is well-positioned to leverage his expertise to create value for all our stakeholders. We expect that under his leadership, BRP will further advance its M28 strategic plan and achieve long-term growth."

The transition will also see the departure of José Boisjoli, who has been instrumental in BRP's success for over 36 years, including 22 as CEO. Boisjoli's leadership transformed BRP from a private entity to a publicly traded global leader in powersports, a journey filled with remarkable achievements. "As I conclude my time at BRP, I'm proud of what we have become, and I am confident in handing the reins over to Denis," Boisjoli stated. "He will work alongside our capable executive team, ensuring BRP's future growth."

The company also announced Pierre Beaudoin will step in as Chair of the Board starting the same day, while Barbara Samardzich continues her role as Lead Independent Director. This new leadership structure aims to position BRP strategically for the future while ensuring continuity in governance and operations.

Denis Le Vot expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and his excitement about embarking on this new journey. "BRP is a company that distinguishes itself as a leader in the industry and has built a robust foundation for future growth. I look forward to collaborating with the talented teams at BRP to enhance the experience of our customers and dealers further,” he said. With Le Vot at the helm, BRP aims to innovate and diversify its offerings, potentially tapping into electric model development to align with consumer shifts toward sustainability.

As BRP gears up for this new chapter, industry insiders are keenly watching how Le Vot's fresh vision will lead the company in navigating the competitive landscape and continuing to shape the powersports industry. The forthcoming changes reflect BRP's commitment to responsible growth, technological advancement, and customer satisfaction, ensuring it remains at the forefront of the global powersports sector.

For enthusiasts and stakeholders alike, the leadership transition marks a moment of anticipation as BRP sets its sights on the future, aiming to captivate and delight fans around the world with innovative products and experiences.
