European Commission Enhances Partnership with UNICEPTA by PRophet
The European Commission has taken a significant step by expanding its existing collaboration with UNICEPTA by PRophet, which is part of Stagwell's award-winning communication technology unit. This expansion, announced on April 3, 2025, involves the addition of global media analysis services to the partnership, solidifying UNICEPTA's role as a trusted media monitoring provider for the Commission.
For the past two years, UNICEPTA by PRophet has been instrumental in providing media tracking services to the European Commission. By extending its services to now include a comprehensive and multilingual media analysis, UNICEPTA will empower the Commission's Directorate-General for Communication (DG COMM) with real-time insights across the 27 EU member states, delivered in 32 different languages.
This advancement is crucial for the Commission as it navigates the increasingly complex global media landscape. The combination of media tracking and in-depth analysis will enable the Commission to receive high-quality information on key political, economic, and social issues, which in turn will assist in monitoring public opinion effectively.
Sebastian Rohwer, co-managing director at UNICEPTA by PRophet, expressed his honor at being selected as the media analysis partner for the European Commission. He emphasized that the successful presentation of this argument was a result of the dedicated and skilled team behind it. Martin Schulze, who co-led the proposal and heads the Analysis and Insights division, noted that their innovative approach demonstrated their capability to blend technological solutions with human expertise to meet the Commission's demands.
Additionally, Thomas Haderer, the business development director who spearheaded the proposal, remarked on the importance of this extension as a vital step in strengthening the company's relationship with the European Commission and enhancing the trust built over the past two years. He added that expanding their services to include media analysis reinforces their presence in Brussels, a strategically significant location for UNICEPTA.
This extension aligns with UNICEPTA by PRophet's strategy of targeting major institutions and worldwide enterprises, highlighting its capacity to offer comprehensive media monitoring solutions on a global scale. Aaron Kwittken, chief executive officer and founder of PRophet, underscored that this contract illustrates the necessity of human-driven media monitoring as a critical mission, not merely an optional service.
With the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into their services, UNICEPTA by PRophet aims to assist institutions in transitioning from a reactive stance to a predictive one, thereby transforming complexity into clarity. This strategic pivot encapsulates the core objectives that PRophet is navigating.
