Celebrate Golden Week with Exciting Events!
The final day of Golden Week on May 6 is about to transform into a memorable experience for families at the Itabashi Cultural Center, located in the heart of Itabashi Ward, Tokyo. The entire venue will be turned into a playground for children with the event "Ooyama Yuuenchi" (Ooyama Play Park).
From 11 AM to 4 PM, families can partake in an abundance of fun activities designed for children, all under one roof. The Family Ticket can be purchased for an incredible price of 1,000 yen, allowing two guardians (middle school age and above) and up to five children entry to enjoy a day full of entertainment together.
Activities Galore!
Kids Disco in the Main Hall
One of the highlights of this event is the Kids Disco in the main hall, where a DJ will play popular tracks loved by children. Kids can dance freely and show off their moves—an opportunity not to be missed!
Engaging Storytelling and Balloon Fun
In the 1st-floor lobby, the beloved "Gorilla-sensei" will captivate young audiences with his entertaining storytelling, while kids can explore the 'Balloon Plaza' on the 2nd floor, where they can bounce around and have a blast with balloons.
For the littlest attendees, a special 'Baby Plaza' located on the 3rd floor offers a calm environment for parents and their infants to relax and enjoy.
Performances to Delight
Visitors can also enjoy the "Crown's House" featuring mime and balloon performances in the small hall. Additionally, on the 4th floor, the 'Wood Play Area' allows children to interact freely with wooden tracks and blocks, stimulating their creativity and imagination.
Interactive Ninja Show and Rock Balancing
The 5th-floor traditional Japanese room will host an interactive show called "Princess Help Mission in Ooyama Castle," where kids can learn ninja skills to rescue a princess! Meanwhile, the tea room offers a calming "Rock Balancing" activity, where kids can learn the art of balancing stones.
Treasure Hunt Adventure
As if that wasn't enough, attendees will be able to partake in a treasure hunt called "Puzzle Solving Treasure Hunt," where they'll explore various rooms in search of hidden treasures while solving clues and enjoying a quest.
