Experience the Vibrant Nemophila at Soleil Hill!
This spring, from mid-April to early May, Yakusuka's Long Beach Park Soleil Hill will transform into a stunning canvas of blue, featuring approximately 550,000 blooming nemophilas. As these beautiful flowers reach their peak bloom during the Golden Week holiday, visitors can expect a visual feast that is reminiscent of a soft blue carpet stretching across the park.
Recently managed by Hibiya Kadan Inc. in partnership with the Yokosuka Area Management Project, Soleil Hill promises a delightful experience for the entire family or groups of friends. Beyond the mesmerizing dome of blue flowers, a colorful array of poppies and tulips will also greet you in various sections of the park, particularly in the West Flower Garden. Visitors can take stunning photographs against the backdrop of the observation wheel, offering a picturesque setting for capturing memories.
Exclusive Nemophila-Themed Foods
In addition to enjoying the vibrant scenery, visitors will also have the chance to savor a selection of exclusive culinary offerings inspired by the nemophila theme. Eight restaurants within the park will feature the “Nemophila Foods” from April 17 to May 17, 2026, showcasing visually appealing dishes that celebrate the spirit of spring.
Indulge in the unique “Nemophila Field Omelette Rice,” or try the refreshing “Nemophila Parfait” and “Nemophila Donuts.” If you prefer a lighter option, don't miss out on the “Nemophila Float.” Each dish is not only delicious but also brilliantly crafted to provide that perfect Instagram-worthy moment, marrying taste with visual appeal.
Special Events to Look Forward To
As an exciting addition to the spring festivities, Soleil Hill will host the “Soleil Dog Parade” on April 25 and 26, inviting dog lovers to celebrate amidst the blooming nemophila fields. Participants are encouraged to dress in blue, resonating with the theme of the event. There will be opportunities for dog-friendly activities, including rides and access to a giant dog park, promising to be a memorable experience for both owners and their furry friends.
