Successful Conclusion of FASHION SOURCE and SHENZHEN ORIGINAL FASHION WEEK

The 31st FASHION SOURCE and SS26 SHENZHEN ORIGINAL FASHION WEEK took place from November 21, 2025, at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, marking a triumphant event orchestrated to celebrate innovation in the fashion industry. This year’s collaboration, themed as a combination between an exhibition and a fashion week, managed to attract over 600 exhibitors from the textile and apparel industries. This unique showcase encompassed a wide variety of materials, from fibers and threads to fabrics and accessories, highlighting the breadth of creativity within fashion manufacturing.

The event garnered attention from more than 45,000 visitors, including brand representatives, e-commerce officials, factories, wholesalers, retailers, designers, various associations, and KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders). Among the notable contributions, 30 brands revealed their latest fashion collections, which were received with enthusiasm from attendees.

One of the standout components of this event was the effective matchmaking service that connected suppliers and exhibitors with renowned brands such as Marisfrolg, Koradior, eifini, and many others. This service received positive feedback, suggesting a successful platform for networking and collaboration between different sectors of the industry.

In addition to the exhibitions, the event featured several professional forums that brought together over 87 industry leaders. These discussions focused on significant themes such as fashion trends, the integration of cultural heritage into products, e-commerce channels, applications of artificial intelligence in fashion, sustainability solutions, and sports lifestyle trends. These talk sessions not only highlighted current trends but also paved the way for future innovation in the fashion industry.

Three major summits were conducted, each addressing specific industry challenges and opportunities:

1. China Apparel Supply Chain Summit: Under the banner of “Echo Universe,” this summit promoted the vision of a new paradigm where brands can coexist and collaborate for mutual benefit.
2. Innovation and Sustainable Development Summit in the Fashion Industry: With the theme “Calibrating Issues and Building Closed Loops,” this summit aimed at enhancing the shift towards circular practices in the fashion industry across Asia.
3. Artificial Intelligence Application Conference: Titled “Smart Textiles, A New Era,” this conference dissected the practical implementation of AI across the supply chain, providing insights into how technology can revolutionize fashion.

Together, these discussions aligned the industry toward a collaborative future, emphasizing intelligent innovation, sustainable growth, and global integration.

Looking ahead, the 32nd edition of FASHION SOURCE and AW26 SHENZHEN ORIGINAL FASHION WEEK is scheduled for April 15 to 17, 2026, continuing at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The focus will remain on key areas such as collaborative innovation, deeper integration between industry, academia, and research, and expanding cross-border e-commerce channels. Through actionable strategies, the fashion industry aims to keep driving forward its transformation and modernization while ensuring sustainable growth for Chinese fashion's future.
