Creating a Future Through Gaming
In the quest for innovation and positive societal change, a fascinating new initiative is taking shape. The philosophy is simple yet powerful: "Creating a future through gaming." This community brings together companies, local governments, educational institutions, and young individuals eager to learn through play. By immersing in interactive experiences, participants will not only gain knowledge but also evolve their actions towards making meaningful changes in society.
Facilitator Training in the Community
At the heart of this community is a training program for facilitators, designed to empower individuals with the skills to guide others in learning through games. Participants will dive deep into the context and purpose of various gaming strategies, followed by hands-on experiences that allow them to practice facilitation techniques. Through mock sessions and constructive feedback, trainees hone their abilities, ultimately earning the title of "Certified Facilitator." This certification opens doors for these individuals to officially implement games in workshops, classes, and community programs, backed by a comprehensive support system, including certification, usage rights, and a collaborative network.
Facilitator training sessions are planned to occur every 1-2 months, ensuring ongoing development and knowledge exchange within the community.
Three Core Values Offered by the Community
The community prides itself on delivering three essential values:
1. Tools and Training
Members gain access to an assortment of enjoyable educational game materials, including card games and board games designed to incorporate gamification into learning. These resources facilitate the exploration of concepts like sustainability, collaborative relationship building, and innovative thinking. Earning the facilitator certification enables individuals to effectively use these games within corporate training and educational environments, thereby enhancing talent development and innovative teaching methods.
2. Network and Co-creation Space
Members join a diverse network that connects educators, students, businesses, and local governments. This interaction fosters cross-sector collaboration and creates opportunities for launching new projects that bridge academia, industry, and government sectors. The community aims to transcend traditional boundaries, encouraging the co-creation of value and expanding possibilities for innovation.
3. Visualization of Results and Data Utilization
The community promotes the systematic collection and sharing of participant data focused on consciousness and behavioral transformations experienced during workshops. By analyzing quantitative and qualitative data—such as pre- and post-game surveys—facilitators can measure the training's effectiveness and assess the outcomes of self-directed talent development. This data serves as the foundation for scientifically backed improvement strategies and the development of future initiatives.
Two Communities and Their Activities
The initiative encompasses two main communities:
- - Community 1: Aims to expand and effectively utilize card and board games related to the SDGs and Beyond SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
- - Community 2: Focuses on promoting and utilizing card and board games related to the digital rural city national concept.
Each community supports its members in creating new games and developing related educational resources. Activities within these communities are driven by member feedback, with implemented ideas reflecting the most popular suggestions.
