From October 23, 2025, to April 5, 2026, Yomiuriland will host its 16th season of the Jewel Illumination, themed LIGHT HOP⤴. With the grand theme Lighting is Love, this year's event aims to express love for people, nature, and our planet. Following a milestone year where Yomiuriland celebrated its 60th anniversary, this year's illumination will be a stepping stone for its bright future, promising a delightful experience with stunning light displays that encourage visitors to return time and again.

Since its inception in 2010, the Jewel Illumination has become a unique destination, showcasing vibrant jewel-colored illuminations against the backdrop of Tokyo's night skyline. Renowned lighting designer Motoko Ishii will once again lead the creative vision, utilizing environmentally-friendly green power for the illuminations, further emphasizing the commitment to our planet.

• - Jewelry Plaza: A vibrant area inspired by LIGHT HOP⤴, featuring orange and gold illuminations.
• - Jewelry Grand Objet: A new attraction that lights up differently on each side, representing love and brilliance through diamond colors and warm tones.

Visitors can explore the Jewelry Stream, which embodies LIGHT HOP⤴ with 24 dynamic decorations set upon a flowing pool, energizing the atmosphere with lively music. Another feature, Lovely Sanctuary, symbolically represents a space where different forms of love coexist, celebrating individual beauty and strength.

The fountain show, famous for its breathtaking scale, will take place annually in the wave pool area, featuring high-tech elements like water screens, lasers, and fireworks. Another exciting aspect of this year's event is the commitment to using only green power, emphasizing Yomiuriland's dedication to reducing environmental impact from the beginning, switching to sustainable energy sources since 2021.
