On July 29, 2026, NC Japan, a leading game developer, announced a wave of new additions to its popular mobile MMORPG, Lineage M. This update not only introduces an exciting new hero-level magic doll but also kicks off not one, but two thrilling events for players to dive into.

Summer Octopus Exploration Mission

Event Period

Starting from the regular maintenance on July 29, 2026, and lasting until the maintenance on August 12, 2026, players of level 60 and above can participate in this exclusive event.

Event Overview

During this event, players can obtain a special item called the Shipwreck Transfer Scroll from the NPC [Event Merchant] Buak that appears in the village of Giran. For a cost of 100,000 Adena, players can exchange for one Shipwreck Transfer Scroll daily. This scroll grants access to the event dungeon Shipwreck, where participants face off against the formidable Cursed Pirate Captain, a boss monster lurking within.

Defeating this boss will earn players a Mermaid Kingdom Treasure Chest, which has a low chance of containing the brand-new [Magic Doll Card] Octopus item. This rare card is a highly sought-after reward, perfect for enhancing gameplay.

Hidden Room of the Ice Palace

Event Period

Simultaneously, from July 29, 2026, after the maintenance, until August 12, 2026, players can also take part in the Hidden Room of the Ice Palace event.

Event Overview

To participate, players over level 60 must complete the event quest titled Hidden Room of the Ice Palace. Successfully finishing this quest will reward players with the Secret Key of the Ice Palace. Using this key in conjunction with Adena, players can create the Secret Map of the Ice Palace, which allows entry into the event dungeon.

Within this frozen realm, players must eliminate all frozen monsters within a time limit to make the Secret Ice Box appear. Defeating the box drops various coins and gacha packs, and there's even a chance of acquiring the legendary hero-grade item [Relic Card] Tiara of the Ice Queen with low odds.
