In a significant development for the film production industry, Nura Studios has unveiled Nura Showcraft, a cutting-edge platform that integrates artificial intelligence into the filmmaking process. Designed with filmmakers, animators, and producers in mind, Showcraft aims to simplify and enhance the journey from creative vision to final product.

The Need for Innovation

With built-in integration of multiple AI image and video models, as well as features like ACES color management with HDR/SDR output and upcoming real-time 4K scaling, Showcraft arms filmmakers with the capabilities to realize their full vision efficiently.

Real-World Applications

Currently, Nura Showcraft is being utilized in several projects, including Rainbow Hollow, an animated series by Noah Wagner, and Astro Burn, a vertical animated microseries from HaZ Dulull, based on his gaming IP. Notably, Emmy award-winning producer Joel Kuwahara, known for Bob's Burgers, along with acclaimed writer-director Jericca Cleland, are also integrating Showcraft into their works. Cleland commented, "Incorporating Showcraft within traditional animation, focused on a human-centric and artist-led approach, opens up new creative possibilities while halving production costs, making independent films like mine feasible."

Accessing Nura Showcraft

The platform is currently available for public early access, offering pay-per-use credit packages instead of traditional subscriptions. Users can view generation costs before rendering, with credits valid for six months after purchase. Subscriptions and additional plans are set to launch on October 6, 2026, with credits purchased early remaining valid under their original terms.

Beyond Showcraft

Nura's offerings extend beyond Showcraft itself. Their API and on-prem services allow partners to integrate Showcraft’s AI functionalities into existing production workflows.
