Phantomeria's Latest Immersive Theater Experience: A Sweet Yet Bittersweet Tale
The innovative immersive theater troupe, Phantomeria, is set to captivate audiences once again with their latest production,
'Valentine's Devil Chocolatier', from February 6 to 8, 2026. Following the successful launch of their inaugural performance, this new narrative promises an enchanting journey into the surreal world of confectionary magic at the
Piano Café Bechstein located in Tokyo’s Nishinbashi area.
The story revolves around a chocolate shop named
'Nightmare', run by a devilish chocolatier. It is said that this shop is a ghostly convergence for the deceased, including a popular male idol who met an untimely death at the hands of a stalker on his way to propose to his lover. Alongside him are his childhood friend and the manager, both of whom seek answers to his forgotten identity, leading to a tangled web of emotions and mysteries regarding love and loss. As an audience member, you become the love’s cupid to help these lost souls find their way.
The production features
Kazuki Soejima and
Kaede Sakuraki, both emerging talents chosen through a public audition. They are joined by notable names, including
Yukafin from Afilia Saga,
Kana Itabashi formerly of Fragrant Drive, singer-songwriter
Riko Yamada, actress
Mairin, stage actor
Shuki Azuma, and university student
Yuu Tenku. The script has been penned by the talented freelance announcer
Sami Kuribayashi, who plays the titular role of the devilish chocolatier, ensuring a spectacular blend of storytelling, performance, and immersive elements.
