Plot Summary

Meiko Morita, a high school student from Akita, is thrilled yet anxious after being selected for a special transfer program at the prestigious Amamiya Girls' Academy in Tokyo. With dreams of a fantastic student life, she embarks on her new journey. However, she soon discovers that her new home is not just an ordinary dormitory but a unique manga café known as 'Hedgehog'.

In this dual-purpose environment, she’ll be working as part of her dormitory life alongside an array of colorful characters. Among them are the refined dorm leader Rie Amamiya, a video content creator named Maria Suzuki, and an intense gamer by the name of Saito Neoto. Together they will navigate their peculiar lives in tight quarters. Yet, a twist awaits Meiko; she was mistaken for the newbie manga artist, 'Morita Meiko', leading to unforeseen surprises.

Airing Schedule

The show is set to broadcast from April 2026. The anime will air on ABC TV and other channels in the TV Asahi network starting April 11, every Saturday at 26:00, followed by BS Nippon Television from April 13, airing every Monday at 23:00.
