From November 28, 2025, to February 25, 2026, the Art Aquarium Museum GINZA will be hosting a spectacular event titled 'Flower Aquarium Gala: A Colorful Exhibition of Goldfish and Flowers'. In a groundbreaking collaboration with Hibiya Kadan, this exhibition will bring a unique artistic experience to life, showcasing goldfish against a backdrop of beautifully arranged flowers.

The Concept of 'Ephemeral Bloom'

The main highlight of the exhibition is the 'Corridor of Goldfish', themed 'Ephemeral Bloom', featuring an extraordinary floral design crafted by Emi Onishi, Executive Florist at Hibiya Kadan. The concept is described as 'The Flow of Emotions: Thoughts Blooming in Water', set within a grand corridor reminiscent of traditional temple architecture, where a series of goldfish columns will be exhibited.

The ground will be adorned with a vivid array of blooms, echoing the traditional Japanese aesthetics symbolized by the practice of ‘Hanamizuki’. Each flower is carefully chosen not only for its beauty but also for its symbolic meaning. For instance, Dahlia, which represents gratitude and elegance, alongside Peonies, symbolizing compassion, and Gerberas, which embody hope, will be artfully arranged to float atop the water.

As the light dances upon the goldfish and flowers, the ephemeral shimmering captures a delicate narrative of human emotions. Visitors will be immersed in this magical realm that resonates deeply, capturing the essence of beauty within fleeting moments.
