2025 New Graduate Recruitment Power Ranking Revealed by Diamond HR

2025 New Graduate Recruitment Power Ranking Announced

In a recent study conducted by Diamond Human Resources, the results of the 19th "New Graduate Recruitment Power Ranking" have been released. This annual survey targets students expected to graduate in March 2026, assessing how companies manage recruitment communications and selection activities. The survey looks at seven areas of evaluation including (1) company websites, (2) internships, (3) brochures and recruitment guides, (4) emails and social media, (5) seminars and information sessions, (6) meetings with senior employees, and (7) selection and interviews. The total points collected from these areas determine each company's "recruitment power" and generate an overall ranking.

The pre-study ranked companies based on students' genuine desire to join them, while the current report evaluates the effectiveness of recruitment activities from March to June, when selection processes typically begin. This ranking has become a "report card" on how well companies engage with students throughout their job-seeking journey.

Top Rankings Overview

For the third consecutive year, Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance secured the top overall position. They achieved first place in the selection and interview category and ranked second in intern-related activities, brochures, seminars, and alumni meetings, and third in website evaluation, illustrating a grasp of student preferences across multiple dimensions. Japan Life Insurance secured the second spot, impressing students with their performance in internships and alumni meetings, while also ranking well in interviews and seminars. Daiwa Securities Group claimed the third position, accumulating strong evaluations across various categories.

A noteworthy factor is the rich content and attractive designs presented in websites and brochures, along with the practical insights gained from internships that students found valuable for understanding their chosen industries. Additionally, the hospitality shown during seminars and interviews continues to resonate positively with candidates.
