Get ready for an exciting weekend in Tokyo as VERTERE Brewery gears up to host its much-anticipated VERTERE Anniversary Festival on April 19th and 20th, 2025. Nestled in the scenic region of Okutama, this two-day event not only commemorates the brewery's 9th anniversary but also marks one year since the opening of its new facility.

The event is a heartfelt celebration of gratitude towards the local community and beer enthusiasts traveling from afar to experience VERTERE's offerings. With a stunning 20 taps of craft beer available, festival attendees will be thrilled to taste unique brews, including some not yet released to the public.

Event Details


The VERTERE Anniversary Festival will take place from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM on both days. The venue, located at the VERTERE brewery, can be accessed via a 20-minute walk from Okutama Station on the JR Ome Line. For added convenience, complimentary shuttle buses will run between the station and the venue throughout the event, ensuring easy access for all guests.

To purchase beers at the festival, tickets can be bought in advance or at the event. Pre-sale tickets are available online until April 14, 2025, at 23:59 with options such as:
  • - Ticket #1: Ticket for 4 beers - ¥2,800 (tax included)
  • - Ticket #2: Ticket for 4 beers + VERTERE original tenugui (Japanese hand towel) - ¥3,000 (tax included)

On-the-day tickets will also be available for purchase:
  • - Ticket #1: Ticket for 4 beers - ¥3,000 (various payment options accepted)
  • - Ticket #2: Ticket for 1 beer - ¥800 (only PayPay accepted)

Featured Collaboration Beer


One of the highlights of the festival is the premiere of a collaborative beer with Ozawa Brewery, a long-standing sake manufacturer in Ome City. This innovative brew, crafted using sake lees, represents a first for VERTERE and showcases the synergy of local ingredients. The blend captures the essence of both beer and sake, promising a delightful tasting experience.

Collaboration Beer Details


  • - Name: Potamidae (Collaboration Beer with Ozawa Brewery)
  • - Style: Saison with Sake Kasu (ALC: 5.5%, IBU: 6)
  • - Description: A fragrant saison featuring the honeyed aroma reminiscent of sweet sake along with clove notes from yeast fermentation, the beer offers a smooth mouthfeel with a crisp finish.

Food and Local Amenities


In addition to tantalizing craft beers, festival-goers will have the opportunity to indulge in food offerings from local vendors, including hot dogs, jerk chicken, burgers, and even pizza on select days. Local sake and various delicious side options will also be available, along with a market featuring regional products.

New VERTERE original merchandise will be available for sale, including unique items like tote bags and mugs, giving fans a chance to take home a piece of the festival.
