JJ Launches 2nd Solo Digital Photo Book Audition

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the renowned fashion media, JJ, has announced the highly anticipated 2nd Solo Digital Photo Book Audition. This exciting competition offers aspiring female talents a chance to secure their own digital photo book, with the entry window open until April 21.

Grand Prize and Other Awards

The grand prize winner, determined by the overall rankings in the final stage, will not only have the opportunity to release their own solo digital photo book, tentatively scheduled for winter 2026, but will also be featured in a solo interview on JJnet. Additionally, they will receive a bundle of data materials from their photo book.

All finalists, regardless of the overall ranking, will have the chance to publish their own mini digital photo book through Kokode Digital, ensuring that every participant receives a reward for their effort.

Eligibility Criteria

The audition is open to women aged 18 and above as of March 31, 2026. Notably, there are no restrictions regarding prior entertainment experience or agency affiliation, making this an inclusive opportunity for all aspiring models and performers. However, be aware that any discrepancies in fulfilling the eligibility criteria may result in disqualification from the entry and loss of associated benefits.

Audition Schedule

The audition is divided into two preliminary blocks:

Preliminary A Block

- Entry Deadline: April 1 (Wednesday) by 15:00
- Mashevara Streaming Assessment: April 4 (Saturday) 07:00 - April 11 (Saturday) 22:00
- Mini Digital Photo Book Shooting Date: April 22 (Wednesday) at a studio in Tokyo.

Preliminary B Block

- Entry Deadline: April 21 (Tuesday) by 15:00
- Mashevara Streaming Assessment: April 25 (Saturday) 07:00 - May 2 (Saturday) 22:00
- Mini Digital Photo Book Shooting Date: May 8 (Friday), also at a studio in Tokyo.

Final Judging

- Streaming Assessment: May 16 (Saturday) 07:00 - May 30 (Saturday) 22:00
- Ranking Master Voting Assessment: May 16 (Saturday) 07:00 - May 29 (Friday) 22:00
- Mini Digital Photo Book Assessment: May 23 (Saturday) 07:00 - May 30 (Saturday) 22:00, with sales via Kokode Digital.
