BankPark YOKOHAMA: A New Cultural Hub in Yokohama
After much anticipation, BankPark YOKOHAMA is set to officially open its doors on October 4, 2025, at 11 AM. This exciting new facility, located in the heart of Yokohama, repurposes the historic former Yokohama branch of the First National Bank, which is recognized as a registered historical building.
Developed by a consortium including Takenaka Corporation, CRAFTINGJAPAN, and goodroom Corporation, BankPark YOKOHAMA will serve as a vibrant cultural exchange hub aimed at bringing people together to learn and grow through diverse cultural experiences.
Logo and Identity
In conjunction with the grand opening, the facility has unveiled its distinctive logo. The logo features colorful pieces symbolizing the intersection of various people, objects, and cultures, fostering new connections and co-creation. Hidden within the logo are the initials "B," "P," and "Y" which represent BankPark YOKOHAMA. The color scheme is based on Yokohama's signature blue, complemented with green to evoke the feel of a park and orange to suggest vibrancy.
