Exciting News: Exclusive Release of 'Assassination Classroom: Time for Everyone'
Prime Video is set to launch the much-awaited film, "Assassination Classroom: Time for Everyone," exclusively on August 7, 2026. This film draws from the celebrated manga series created by Matsui Yuusei, originally published in Shueisha’s "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 2012 to 2016, which has impressively sold over 27 million copies.
The release date holds symbolic significance as it marks the anniversary of the series that began its serialization a decade ago on July 2, 2012. The film represents a fresh narrative that explores previously unseen episodes from the manga in a completely new format.
A Nostalgic Journey Through Time
"Assassination Classroom: Time for Everyone" is the third installment in a celebratory project marking the anime’s 10th anniversary. Set just 15 days before the assassination deadline of the enigmatic super-being, Koro-sensei, the students of Class 3-E reminisce about their memorable experiences together. In a deeper exploration of their time spent under his unusual guidance, this film offers an emotional journey showcasing not just assassination skills, but also the personal growth and camaraderie formed during their time in the classroom.
Returning to lend their voices are popular actors such as Jun Fukuyama as Koro-sensei, Shizuka Ito, and Tomokazu Sugita. The film marks the directorial debut of Masaki Kitamura, who previously helmed the anime series "Hanako-kun: The Boy of the After School," with the script written by Makoto Uezu, known for his work on the original anime.
