Experience the Exhilarating Godzilla Diorama at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku

A New Era of Godzilla Awaits at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku

Hotel Gracery Shinjuku, located in the heart of Tokyo's vibrant Shinjuku district, is set to captivate fans of cinematic monsters once again. Starting from February 1, 2026, the hotel introduces a stunning new diorama showcasing iconic scenes from Toho's beloved franchise, featuring the legendary Godzilla from "Godzilla FINAL WARS". This exhibition promises to be an unforgettable experience for both Japanese and international guests.

The meticulously crafted diorama will be on display in the 8th-floor lobby until June 30, 2026. Following this initial installment, a second diorama is scheduled to launch in late June, continuing the celebration of these cinematic masterpieces through December. Under the supervision of Toho, this diorama is designed to immerse visitors into the thrilling universe of Godzilla, capturing the legendary battle scenes with remarkable details.

A Glimpse into the Diorama

The 2026 debut diorama takes inspiration from the 2004 film, where Godzilla confronts fellow kaiju like Heidora and Ebirah. The setup recreates an electrifying atmosphere, complete with aquatic-themed lighting that gives the illusion of being underwater, adding depth to the dramatic showdown. Guests entering the lobby will be greeted by the imposing presence of Godzilla, with piercing eyes locked onto the viewer, creating an awe-inspiring sight that sets the tone for the entire hotel experience.

An Iconic Landmark

This year marks an important milestone for Hotel Gracery Shinjuku, as it celebrates its 11th anniversary. In collaboration with Toho, the hotel features a nearly life-sized Godzilla head (approximately 12 meters tall) that has become a cherished photo spot for visitors. Other specially themed accommodations include the Godzilla Room and the Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah Room, both designed to immerse guests fully into the world of kaiju. The hotel has gained popularity not only among local fans but also among international tourists, continuing to be a must-visit destination in Tokyo.

Culinary Delights at GRACERY LOUNGE

Guests can also indulge in themed culinary offerings at the GRACERY LOUNGE, situated on the 8th floor. This charming venue serves drinks like the "Godzilla Print Art Latte" and delicious pancakes inspired by the movie, ensuring that visitors have a complete and authentic experience. Each dish is perfectly crafted to resonate with the spirit of the kaiju series, offering a feast for both the eyes and the palate.
