Starting in the fall semester of 2025, GMercyU will offer:

3. Combined MSEA K-12 Principal Certification and Ed.D. in Educational Leadership: This dual program enables aspiring educational leaders to earn both a master's degree in educational administration with principal certification and a doctoral degree within approximately four years.

Dr. Raymond Bandlow, a Professor of Education Policy and the Program Director of Doctoral Studies at GMercyU, expressed excitement about these programs. Additionally, nearly 2,000 full-time nursing faculty positions were vacant, as reported by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing. This shortage not only emphasizes the importance of these graduate programs but also highlights GMercyU's commitment to addressing critical workforce challenges in healthcare and education.
