The game development company EXNOA, based in Minato, Tokyo, has announced an exciting event for its popular sword training simulation game, Touken Ranbu Online. Starting from February 12, 2026, after maintenance, players can unlock the new swordsman, Unju (voiced by Shugo Nakamura), through the special event called Tactical Training - Chiyoko Operation.

Unju, a striking addition to the game, represents the Ukae sword faction and is classified as a Tachi. Dive into the Tactical Training Event

The Tactical Training - Chiyoko Operation event encourages players to strategically assemble their units to meet various training conditions. Completing these conditions allows players to unlock challenging training panels, earning them Chiyoko and other exciting rewards such as new swordsman Unju, sword equipment, and handy tools.

Moreover, by unlocking all nine training panels, players will have the opportunity to obtain a new swordsman who will be featured as the background of the training sheet. Collecting a certain number of Chiyoko will also allow some familiar faces, including swordsmen like Unji (voiced by Daichi Mizushima), Unshou (voiced by Jun Kasama), and Mitsutada Fukushima (voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya), to appear in the background.

The event runs from February 12, 2026, after maintenance, until March 3, 2026, at 12:59 PM. This is a golden opportunity for fans to challenge themselves and gather their favorite swordsmen!

Special Perks with Tactical Training

For players wishing to boost their gameplay, a new tool called Special Exchange Ticket (Chiyoko) will be available for purchase. This ticket unlocks special perks within the Tactical Training event, along with a bonus of 10,000 Chiyoko.

As players accumulate Chiyoko, they will receive Special Exchange Stickers (Chiyoko). These stickers can be exchanged for swordsmen and helpful tools, adding more value to your gameplay experience.

During the event, specific advantageous tools unique to the Tactical Training - Chiyoko Operation will be sold in the in-game shop for a limited time.
