AusperBio to Share Important AHB-137 Hepatitis B Data at AASLD 2026

AusperBio to Present Groundbreaking AHB-137 Treatment Data at AASLD 2026

In a significant advancement in the fight against chronic hepatitis B, AusperBio Therapeutics, Inc. and Ausper Biopharma Co., Ltd., both working under the umbrella of AusperBio, will present compelling long-term follow-up data on AHB-137 treatment during two late-breaking oral presentations at The Liver Meeting® 2026. Taking place from November 5-9 in Denver, Colorado, this annual meeting organized by the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) will see the unveiling of critical findings from the AB-10-8004 study (NCT07146100).

The presentations will focus on two distinct groups involved in the clinical trials of AHB-137: first, those experienced with nucleos(t)ide analogue (NA) treatment, and second, treatment-naïve individuals who received monotherapy with AHB-137, an innovative investigative drug targeting chronic hepatitis B.

Insights from AusperBio Leadership

Chris Yang, Co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of AusperBio, expressed their gratitude and excitement over being selected for these late-breaking presentations. He remarked, "We are honored that two abstracts from the AB-10-8004 study have been selected for late-breaking oral presentations at The Liver Meeting®. We look forward to sharing these long-term follow-up data with the hepatology community as we continue to advance AHB-137 toward our goal of a functional cure for chronic hepatitis B."

About AHB-137

AHB-137 is AusperBio’s premier investigational unconjugated antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) therapy targeting chronic hepatitis B, developed through the innovative Med-Oligo™ ASO platform. This therapy aims to suppress hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) production, inhibit viral DNA replication, and stimulate immune reactivation, with the intent to achieve a functional cure for chronic hepatitis B.

The therapy has shown promising clinical outcomes and is currently undergoing evaluation in a Phase 3 trial in China, in addition to previous global Phase 1 and multiple Phase 2 studies. AusperBio is actively pursuing a coordinated global development strategy to advance AHB-137 towards potential commercialization.
