Aviator Nation and We Are ENOUGH Team Up for Mental Health Awareness Month

Aviator Nation Partners with We Are ENOUGH for Mental Health Awareness Month

In a heartfelt collaboration, Paige Mycoskie, the founder of Aviator Nation, and her brother Blake Mycoskie, creator of We Are ENOUGH, are uniting to address the crucial topic of mental health. Ahead of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, they are launching a limited-edition bracelet that symbolizes self-worth and support for mental health organizations.

The bracelet, showcasing a trendy green-on-green design, is made from vibrant glass beads and a leather cord, tapping into the color that epitomizes mental health awareness. This accessory is not just a simple fashion item; it serves as a daily reminder that individuals are enough just as they are. It marks a significant movement within both siblings’ journeys, rooted in their shared experiences with mental health.

The siblings‘ journey together goes back nearly 25 years when they competed on reality television's 'The Amazing Race.' Their recent project represents a rare moment of candidness, where personal struggles turned into a collaborative venture. The idea for this project emerged during a podcast conversation at Blake's home, where the two candidly shared their mental health experiences. “That day I discovered things about my sister I never knew,” Blake mentioned, as he opened up about his own battles with mental health, revealing how external success did not equate to internal fulfillment.

Paige echoed Blake's sentiments, explaining how she designed the original logo for TOMS, which adds a personal layer to this collaboration. “There are times I feel overwhelmed; wearing the 'ENOUGH' bracelet is a grounding reminder for me,” Paige stated. The bracelet embodies the belief that small, intentional actions can make substantial changes in self-perception, especially concerning mental wellness.

The duo’s aim extends beyond the bracelet; they hope to spark vital conversations around mental health. The limited-edition bracelet will retail for $25 and is exclusively available at Aviator Nation’s stores and online. Each purchase includes a QR code prompting customers to buy a second bracelet to give to someone who has made them feel enough, reinforcing community connection through the act of giving.

“By giving the power of generosity back to the individual, we're encouraging personal actions that can deeply impact someone else,” explained Blake. This innovative approach builds on TOMS' legacy, now pushing the narrative of giving beyond the brand's ownership.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from each bracelet will funnel into supporting several leading mental health organizations, including NAMI, Project Healthy Minds, Active Minds, the Kevin Love Fund, and The Hidden Opponent.

To celebrate this collaboration, a launch event is set for June 11 at Aviator Nation Dreamland in Malibu. The event promises an engaging conversation featuring Paige and Blake, inviting attendees to delve into their stories and the importance of mental health.

Both Aviator Nation and We Are ENOUGH are committed to fostering meaningful dialogues about mental health and self-worth, hoping to inspire individuals to embrace their journeys. They emphasize the need for acceptance and understanding in a world that sometimes discourages such sentiments. The collaboration stands as a testament to how personal experiences can catalyze community and support for vital causes.

As society shifts towards greater recognition of mental health, such partnerships shine a light on the importance of connection, openness, and support, reminding everyone that each person is indeed enough.
