Explore the Extensive Test Drive Lineup at the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show

2025 Los Angeles Auto Show: An Unmissable Driving Experience

The 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show is set to be an exciting event for automobile enthusiasts, taking place from November 21 to 30 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This year, attendees can look forward to an expanded lineup, featuring over 50 vehicles available for test drives. This extensive range allows visitors to experience various brands and vehicle types while comparing performance and comfort firsthand.

A Showcase of Diverse Vehicles

Among the many highlights at this year's show, car enthusiasts can expect to get behind the wheel of notable vehicles such as the Chevy Bolt, Nissan Leaf, Lucid Gravity Touring, and Cadillac Celestiq for the first time. This broad selection not only highlights the latest innovations in electric vehicles (EVs) but also showcases everything from rugged SUVs to high-performance sports cars. Visitors can explore the dynamic landscape of today’s automotive market in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

Terri Toennies, President of the Los Angeles Auto Show, expressed enthusiasm about the event: "There's nothing more exhilarating than feeling a new car under your control for the first time. Here at the LA Auto Show, visitors can do more than just ‘see’ the new cars; they actually get to ‘drive’ them and find the vehicle that best fits their lifestyle."

Test Drive Zones

This year’s driving experience will be divided into two major outdoor test drive zones. The Clean Energy Alliance Electric and Hybrid test track, sponsored by CPA EV SmartCharge, features a one-mile circuit outside the main hall, where attendees can test drive more than 20 electrified models from various brands, including:
  • - Cadillac: Escalade IQ, LYRIQ, OPTIQ, and VISTIQ.
  • - Chevrolet: Blazer EV, 10th Anniversary Bolt EV, Equinox EV, and Silverado EV.
  • - Lucid: Air and Gravity Touring.
  • - Nissan: The all-new Leaf, making its consumer debut.
  • - Volkswagen: Atlas, ID Buzz, and Tiguan, among others.
  • - Volvo: Celebrating 70 years in the U.S. with models like XC90, XC60, and EX30.

Additionally, the Gilbert Lindsay Plaza street test drive will allow participants to navigate through downtown Los Angeles, choosing from over 30 gasoline, electric, and hybrid vehicles. This includes a first-time opportunity to test drive the Polestar 4 electric crossover.

Popular Indoor Experiences

Returning to the convention center will be the popular indoor test ride experience. This controlled environment focuses on grip, suspension performance, and chassis dynamics, featuring expert drivers who will guide visitors through various performance demonstrations.
For instance, the Jeep Camp will challenge drivers with the Wrangler 4xe, Gladiator, and Grand Cherokee L, showcasing their off-road capabilities. Similarly, Hyundai will present its all-electric IONIQ lineup, letting visitors experience how models like the IONIQ 5 N handle and accelerate.
In the West Hall, visitors can buckle up for Ford's Bronco Built Wild test rides, tackling treacherous terrain and ascending Bronco Mountain to witness the rugged capabilities of the Bronco Badlands in action.
