Experience the Vibrant Summer Festival-Themed Chinese Afternoon Tea at Royal Park Hotel

Celebrate Summer with a Unique Afternoon Tea at Royal Park Hotel

This summer, the Royal Park Hotel invites you to experience an exciting Summer Festival Chinese Afternoon Tea from July 1 to August 31, 2026. Held at the hotel's B1F Chinese restaurant, Keikaen, this unique culinary experience combines the festive atmosphere of a summer festival with authentic Chinese flavors.

Summer Festival Chinese Afternoon Tea

As the summer season unfolds, this special afternoon tea brings a splash of vibrant colors to your table. Guests will enjoy a beautifully arranged platter symbolizing fireworks, featuring an assortment of appetizers. Delicacies include sweet and sour jellyfish, grilled squid with soy sauce, and an American-style hot dog made with Chinese sausage, all designed to evoke the excitement of a summer festival.

At the heart of the presentation lies a large steamer housing adorable panda buns dressed in traditional summer festival attire. Accompanying these are visually stunning sweet rice cakes resembling candy apples, delicious grilled chicken wings with a savory glaze, and fluffy cotton candy.

The lineup also includes an array of tempting dim sum items reminiscent of street food stalls, such as spicy soup dumplings, summer vegetable and pork steamed dumplings, shrimp dumplings shaped like goldfish, and takoyaki-style fried dumplings, alongside baked corn filled with cheese and butter.

On the dessert stand, guests will find refreshing cherry-flavored jelly mimicking goldfish, banana tarts with chocolate, mango tapioca, and sweet potato-filled fried buns—all meticulously crafted to reflect the joy of summer festivities. To enhance this playful tea experience, a beer-themed jelly is included, serving as a delightful conversation starter.

Each afternoon tea set comes with a selection of six types of Chinese tea, along with free-flow coffee, black tea, and a variety of ramune flavors (plain, melon, and strawberry) for a truly complete experience.

Cantonese and Sichuan Feast

Start your meal with an appetizer platter, featuring moist and flavorful chicken known as ‘Yodare Chicken.’ For dinner, a luxurious hot-and-sour soup featuring shark fin and King crab is served, exemplifying the unique flavors characteristic of Sichuan cuisine. Another highlight is the “angel shrimp with garlic and spicy powder,” offering a delectable representation of Cantonese culinary art.

The main course varies between lunch and dinner, with lunch featuring fresh squid while dinner serves prime quality beef stir-fried to perfection. The famous Cantonese XO sauce is served on the side to personalize your dish further. Enjoy the signature ‘Mapo Tofu,’ served hot in a clay pot, or pick between refreshing ‘Five Vegetable Cold Noodles’ or flavorful ‘Mala Soup’ that captures the essence of Sichuan spices.

Concluding the feast is a dessert made from fresh white peaches paired with delicate almond tofu, melding sweet and spicy flavors into one delightful experience. Don’t miss the chance to savor these exquisite culinary treats stemming from both Cantonese and Sichuan traditions!
