Ailytics Secures $7.4 Million Series A Funding
In a significant move, Ailytics, an innovative visual AI startup, has successfully closed a Series A funding round, raising
$7.4 million. This funding, led by
Tin Men Capital, will assist Ailytics in expanding its reach across key global markets, including the
Asia-Pacific,
United States, and the
Gulf Region.
Background of Ailytics
Founded in
2021 in
Singapore, Ailytics specializes in transforming existing industrial video surveillance systems into a powerful layer of real-time AI security and operational insights. Since its previous funding round in
April 2024, in which it raised
$2.7 million, the company has rapidly scaled its operations, growing from
70 projects in four countries to over
400 deployments across
15 countries. This remarkable growth emphasizes the demand for AI-driven security solutions in various industrial settings.
The potential of Ailytics is not just theoretical, as evidenced by its ongoing projects with major players like
NatSteel,
PaxOcean, and
DHL, and high-profile installations at the
Leonardo da Vinci International Airport in Rome and the
Changi Airport Terminal 5 construction site. Ailytics' innovative products cater specifically to the demanding environments of heavy industries, where traditional surveillance might fall short.
Strategic Expansion Plans
Lenard Tan, Ailytics' CEO and co-founder, stated, "This funding round solidifies our teams in the
U.S.,
Japan,
Australia, and the
Gulf region as we focus on tackling challenging outdoor industrial environments. Our goal is to build a global industrial AI company from Singapore." Ailytics aims to capitalize on the increasing need for security and operational efficiency in sectors where safety is paramount.
The company’s proprietary product,
Ailyssa, employs advanced AI techniques to derive three-dimensional spatial understanding from standard two-dimensional video feeds. This technology operates effectively in various adverse conditions such as rain, dust, and low light, utilizing even legacy cameras. Furthermore, the newly developed reasoning engine,
AilyssaX, enhances real-time scene processing and procedural checking, resulting in increased accuracy and relevance for alerts generated.
Prateek Manocha, the CTO and co-founder, emphasized the strategic opportunities this funding will provide, allowing the development of domain-specific reasoning models while keeping AI operational costs manageable as demand surges. "Ailytics exhibits strong unit economics with a customer churn rate below
1% across
15 markets, we are poised to assist the team in scaling globally," remarked Jeremy Tan, co-founder and managing partner at Tin Men Capital.
Looking Ahead
As Ailytics ventures into new markets, it is set on a path to enhance security and operational workflows for industries that depend heavily on surveillance. The rapid scaling and deployment capabilities of the company have positioned it as a frontrunner in the space of visual AI solutions. The capital raised will not only help in meeting immediate operational goals but also facilitate long-term strategic growth, pushing the boundaries of what is possible within real-time AI surveillance.
