WHG Hotels Partners with Bandai Spirits for a Unique Gundam Collaboration

This summer, WHG Hotels, operating a network of 32 hotels across Japan, is marking a unique collaboration with Bandai Spirits to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the beloved Gunpla (Gundam model kits). This exciting event, titled 'Gundam Recycling Operation with WHG HOTELS', will run from July 15 to August 31, 2025. As part of this initiative, the hotels will distribute a total of 100,000 eco-friendly Gunpla experience kits to young guests and patrons.

Project Highlights

1. Complimentary Eco-Friendly Gunpla Kits

All elementary school students staying at WHG Hotels during the campaign will receive the 'Eco-Plastic Model Assembly Kit', which showcases the RX-78-2 Gundam. This kit is designed to be user-friendly, allowing even beginners to assemble their own model without needing tools. Each hotel will have designated collection boxes for used plastic runners, encouraging guests to participate in sustainability efforts. This initiative promotes awareness of environmental issues and provides a great summer research opportunity for families.

2. Exclusive Gunpla Collaboration Rooms

Specially designed rooms, themed around the 'MG RX-78-2 GUNDAM Ver.3.0', are set to open at three select locations: Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel, Hotel Gracery Tamachi, and Canal City Fukuoka Washington Hotel. Each room will feature artistic wall murals, a cockpit-inspired desk, and showcases of Gunpla models. Guests will also find a set of tools ready for assembling models, thus providing an immersive experience in the world of Gunpla. As a bonus, each room reservation will come with a Master Grade Eco-Plastic model as a keepsake.
