The Vision of Robin Furuya

Robin Furuya is not just a photographer but a multi-talented artist who combines his skills as an actor and filmmaker. Born in Kyoto in 1990 and raised in Shiga and Hawaii, Furuya has cultivated a unique artistic vision over his eight years of experience with the Nikon Zf camera. He genuinely believes in the power of capturing moments, expressing, "I want to make that moment eternal when I press the shutter." His work highlights the emotional depth of human experiences through a lens that reflects personal colors and sentiments.

Furuya’s work captures the delicate distance between individuals, a theme he refers to as 'focal length.' He skillfully conveys his interpretation of life and relationships through photography, offering viewers a glimpse into his world. His previous exhibitions, 'reflection' in 2022 and 'Love Wind' in September 2023, have already showcased his innate ability to connect through images, making 'MY FOCAL LENGTH' a highly anticipated event.

Exhibition Details

The exhibition at THE GALLERY in Tokyo will be open to the public from June 17 to June 30, 2025, with operating hours from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, closed on Sundays and with an early closure at 3 PM on the final day. Meanwhile, the Osaka venue will host the exhibition from July 10 to July 23, 2025. Visitors can expect a profound representation of Furuya’s journey through life and his interpretation of human connections as he explores various focal lengths through his photography.
