Stagwell Elevates Connie Chan to Chief Growth Officer for Asia Pacific to Drive Innovation

Stagwell Appoints Connie Chan as Chief Growth Officer for Asia Pacific

Stagwell Inc. has officially announced the appointment of Connie Chan as its Chief Growth Officer for the Asia Pacific region, a strategic move aimed at driving growth and innovation across APAC markets. Chan will start her role in July 2025, based in Singapore, where she will lead the overarching growth strategy and operations for Stagwell.

This decision comes on the heels of Stagwell's recent acquisition of ADK GLOBAL, further solidifying its presence in the Asia Pacific market. With 2,500 employees dispersed over 34 offices throughout the region, Stagwell is poised for expansive growth, and Chan's extensive experience is expected to be a vital asset in this endeavor. She will report directly to Ryan Linder, the Executive Vice President and Global Chief Marketing Officer at Stagwell.

"As we navigate the ever-evolving global marketing landscape, the Asia Pacific region emerges as a focal point of tremendous opportunity," stated Linder. He emphasized that Chan's leadership will be instrumental in not only adapting to current market complexities but also positioning Stagwell to shape the future of marketing in this dynamic region.

Randy Duax, Stagwell's Managing Director for Asia Pacific, lauded Chan’s capabilities, remarking, "Connie doesn’t just drive growth; she generates momentum that transcends traditional expectations. Over the past three years, we have built a platform that defies industry norms—converging media, creativity, strategy, and public relations to operate with unprecedented speed and scale. Connie is here to rewrite the playbook."

Before her role at Stagwell, Chan was CEO of OMD China, where she successfully managed operations across major cities, including Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou. Her tenure was marked by her keen focus on fostering growth and creativity while cultivating a strong organizational culture. Chan has also held influential roles at WPP, such as Executive Director of the Government Public Sector Practice in Singapore and Chief Client Officer for Asia Pacific at MEC, now known as Wavemaker, where she focused on nurturing strategic client partnerships.

In reflection on her new role, Chan stated, "I have always been a proponent of combining strategic clarity with bold, innovative ideas. Stagwell possesses both the talent and ambition, alongside a platform conducive to crafting meaningful work that leaves a lasting impact."
