PODS Partners with Operation Healing Forces to Aid America's Special Operations Forces

PODS Collaborates with Operation Healing Forces for Veteran Support

In a heartwarming initiative, PODS Enterprises, LLC has joined forces with Operation Healing Forces (OHF), a nonprofit dedicated to serving America's special operations community. This partnership aims to provide much-needed moving and storage solutions to support the recovery and rehabilitation of wounded, ill, and injured service members, as well as their families.

A Step Towards Recovery

On March 3, 2026, PODS announced that it will act as OHF's exclusive moving and storage provider. As part of their commitment, PODS will offer in-kind donations of portable moving containers, which will assist in local moves and on-site storage needs for special operations forces and their families throughout the year. This collaboration is designed to facilitate transitional services that are essential for service members and their families as they navigate through periods of recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration into civilian life.

VP of Residential and Commercial Partnerships at PODS, Irfan Bojadzija, emphasized the company's long-standing commitment to the military community, stating, "Supporting the military community has been core to our company since day one. Our partnership with Operation Healing Forces allows us to stand alongside the nation's most elite warriors and their families by providing practical help when it is needed most."

The Importance of Partnership

Established in 2011, Operation Healing Forces has made significant strides in fostering rehabilitation and resilience among special operations members and their families. The organization collaborates closely with U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and has notable sponsors, including Delta Air Lines and Wounded Warrior Project. Using funds and support from these partnerships, OHF’s programs work diligently to restore strength and stability to the military community, addressing both visible and invisible wounds.

CEO Kerry Irvin remarked on the critical nature of collaborations like the one with PODS, saying, "Partnerships like this are vital to fulfilling our mission of restoring strength and stability to the military community. We are proud to welcome PODS as a trusted partner equally committed to honoring and uplifting those who serve."

PODS' Continued Commitment to Veterans

This new partnership aligns with PODS' ongoing commitment to military service members and their families. Earlier, the company joined the MILITARY STAR® card program, enhancing access to PODS' moving and storage solutions specifically designed for the military community.

In 2025, PODS facilitated nearly 33,000 military moves, serving approximately 279 military locations across the continental U.S. and Hawaii, which speaks volumes about their dedication to supporting veterans and active-duty personnel. Furthermore, veterans and active members comprise about six percent of PODS’ workforce, showing that the commitment is not just corporate, but personal.

Additionally, PODS contributes to several military-focused initiatives, such as the Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots campaign and the annual military appreciation event of the Tampa Bay Chamber.

Conclusion

The partnership between PODS and Operation Healing Forces demonstrates a powerful union of resources aimed at making a real difference in the lives of America’s heroes. By making moving and storage solutions more accessible for these service members, the collaboration not only aids the physical transition but also embodies the support and gratitude from the civilian community. As PODS continues to innovate within the moving and storage industry, its contributions to military initiatives underscore an enduring commitment to service for those who protect our freedoms.
