FRUITS ZIPPER, a seven-member idol group, has recently been reappointed as the "Meiji Snack Ambassadors". Their collaboration with Meiji started last August and is set to elevate Japan's traditional festive occasions, known as "Hare Day", by enhancing it with delightful snack experiences. Their project, dubbed the "NEW OKASHI PROJECT", aims to create special and enjoyable moments through the magic of sweets.

Year One: A Sweet Success

In their first year, the project focused on enabling individuals to express themselves freely by crafting snacks, making these special occasions even more memorable. The motto was to create a more personal experience through homemade treats. The initiative was a resounding success, and the group was thrilled to have their ideas come to fruition—like distributing sweets to fans during their tours and launching co-branded packages with Meiji.

In a heartfelt post-appointment interview, member Matsumoto joyfully reflected on their first year, expressing how grateful she was for the opportunities they had to connect with fans. She shared that her wish on a bamboo strip for Tanabata was not just for fans to love Meiji’s snacks more, but quite ambitiously articulated, "We want to dominate the world with Meiji and FRUITS ZIPPER!" Her fellow member, Kinsei, echoed a similar sentiment as she expressed enthusiasm for showcasing the myriad of delightful ways to enjoy Meiji’s treats.
