TOPANGA CHAMPIONSHIP 6, hosted by
CELLORB Co., Ltd., based in Yokohama, Kanagawa. This league-style tournament for
STREET FIGHTER 6 promises intense battles and a remarkable total prize pool of
4 million yen.
What is the TOPANGA CHAMPIONSHIP?
The
TOPANGA CHAMPIONSHIP incorporates a long-term battle system that is unique to the
STREET FIGHTER series. It features a comprehensive structure that includes
online qualifiers, an
online main league, and an
offline final, aiming to provide an engaging competition for fighting game enthusiasts.
The excitement builds from the online main league, where a total of 29 players will compete. These include 24 competitors from the previous tournament, 2 invited players, and 3 qualifiers from the online open qualifiers. Players will be divided into two tiers based on their previous performances, namely the
BEGINNING STAGE and
ADVANCED STAGE. The league will unfold over 13 days, leading to the
OFFLINE FINAL STAGE where the top 7 players will vie for the champion title.
