As they celebrate their 50th anniversary, Sight & Sound Theatres® reveals two highly anticipated productions set to grace the stage in 2027. Get ready as audiences prepare for a dynamic return of ‘JONAH’ and the much-awaited debut of ‘DANIEL’.

'JONAH' Returns to Lancaster, PA

Set to enchant viewers once again, ‘JONAH’ will return to the Lancaster, Pennsylvania stage starting March 11, 2027, through December 31 of the same year. This family-favorite show has delighted audiences with its vibrant portrayal of Jonah’s deep-sea adventures. After a decade-long hiatus from the stage, the production promises to deliver an unforgettable experience with stunning sets, including massive three-story ships and colorful costumes that bring the tale to life.

With an original score and charming storytelling, ‘JONAH’ captivates audiences young and old alike. The narrative follows Jonah as he faces stormy seas and ultimately discovers the profound power of grace and mercy—even towards his adversaries. In a historic first, Sight & Sound will introduce ‘DANIEL’ to its Branson, Missouri venue. Debuting on March 19, 2027, and running until December 31, this exclusive production illustrates Daniel's journey through trials and tribulations during his time in Babylon. Filled with remarkable scenes including the fiery furnace and the famous lion's den, ‘DANIEL’ promises to transport audiences into the heart of these significant biblical moments.

Fans of live theater can expect fresh material as the production includes two new songs along with an updated script. “How do we live faithfully and serve God, even in cultures that are opposed to Him? Daniel’s story presents incredible hope and direction,” shares Caleb Hughes, Producer of the upcoming season. The updates intend to amplify the powerful messages contained within this story.
