SINEXCEL Unveils StellaON 1250K/1575K for European Energy Storage Needs

Pioneering Energy Storage Solutions

At the Intersolar Europe 2026 event, SINEXCEL has unveiled the StellaON 1250K/1575K, a Power Control System (PCS) designed to meet the growing energy storage demands across Europe. Integrating advanced technologies from Infineon, StellaON represents a significant step towards enhancing energy resilience, grid stability, and optimizing lifecycle economics for utility-scale applications.

Omni-Adaptability in Harsh Conditions

The StellaON was engineered with the concept of 'Omni-Adaptability' at its core. This allows it to perform reliably even in extreme environments, adapting fluidly to varying loading conditions and grid requirements. For instance, featuring Infineon's EconoDUAL™3 modules, the system delivers a robust continuous output even at elevated temperatures of 55°C, well above the average operational threshold of 45°C seen in the industry. This capability reduces output derating by nearly 15% to 20% and lowers oversizing costs significantly, leading to more efficient energy management.

Additionally, its IP65 rated enclosure and C5 anti-corrosion rating ensure operation under demanding weather conditions without compromising functionality, while maintaining noise levels below 65 dB to comply with urban regulations in Europe.

Meeting Evolving Grid Requirements

Europe's energy landscape is rapidly changing, and StellaON is poised to adapt to these transformations effectively. It features grid-forming capabilities that meet the latest standards like NC RfG 2.0. With modes designed for power quality, voltage frequency, virtual synchronous generator (VSG), and static voltage generator (SVG), this system is well equipped to handle the complexities of modern energy grids. Notably, it supports a 1.5x overload for 60 seconds, which contrasts sharply with the industry standard of 1.2x, showcasing its superior grid-forming performance and black-start capabilities. Additionally, the PCS can operate in parallel using multiple AC/DC units, enhancing scalability and redundancy, essential for large-scale energy deployments.

Unlocking Lifecycle Efficiency

Efficiency over time is a critical factor in determining the true value of energy solutions. The StellaON achieves an impressive 98.5% maximum full-load efficiency and boasts a 0.6% round-trip efficiency gain, which greatly reduces the Levelized Cost of Storage (LCOS). Its design accommodates various modular configurations that range from 20ft 2.5MW to 40ft 12.5MW multi-voltage stations, making it significantly versatile for different deployment scenarios. Furthermore, its innovative self-cleaning design decreases operational expenditure (OpEx) by up to 15%, while a Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) exceeding 300,000 hours ensures the system maintains an uptime of 99%. Quick replacement of key components in under one hour and complete PCS replacements in less than two hours exemplify its focus on reliability and efficiency.

Global Deployments and Market Readiness

The StellaON's market readiness was validated by its successful grid connection in Vietnam earlier this year, where it demonstrated outstanding performance despite extreme heat and humidity conditions. In the first half of 2026 alone, over 500 MW worth of orders were secured, with more than 15 projects actively underway across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Africa. It conforms with grid codes across Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Romania, and with future certifications expected from Spain and the U.S.
