In a strategic shift, current Board Director Shaun Kingsbury has been appointed the new Chairman of the Board, succeeding Harald Mix, who will remain on the board as an active member.

Kingsbury's elevation to the role of Chairman is coupled with the nomination of Aidan de Brunner and Emmanuel Rodriguez as new Board Directors. This change comes as Annica Bresky and Susanna Campbell have chosen to step down, advocating for a fresh set of competencies to better align with the company's evolving needs. With a comprehensive background in finance and investment, de Brunner’s expertise in capital-intensive businesses is expected to be invaluable, especially as Stegra navigates the construction of its groundbreaking green-steel facility in Boden.

Emmanuel Rodriguez

Bringing more than 25 years of experience in the industrial sectors, Emmanuel Rodriguez complements the Board with his extensive background in decarbonization and industry innovation. Previously serving as Vice President and Head of Decarbonization Partnerships at ArcelorMittal, Rodriguez has championed initiatives promoting circular economy principles. His leadership in sustainability aligns perfectly with Stegra’s mission to develop sustainable industrial practices, and his educational credentials include master’s degrees in Physics and Finance.

Acknowledging Past Contributions

Kingsbury has also expressed gratitude towards Harald Mix for his leadership over the past five years.
