Yayoi Launches Pre-Registration for 'Yayoi Keihi Next'
Yayoi Co., Ltd., based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has officially announced the commencement of pre-registration for its standalone cloud-based expense management software, 'Yayoi Keihi Next'. Starting from February 3, 2026, users will be able to register in advance for a product that has primarily been offered alongside the corporate accounting software 'Yayoi Accounting Next'. This strategic move comes as many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are looking to enhance their expense processing with flexibility.
Background of the Offering
Previously, 'Yayoi Keihi Next' was exclusively available for customers utilizing 'Yayoi Accounting Next'. In Japan, a considerable number of SMEs still rely on traditional methods such as paper and spreadsheets for expense management. This leads to burdensome tasks like verifying receipts and adhering to legal guidelines (such as electronic storage laws), resulting in numerous challenges in the approval process.
Given the demands for digital transformation within these businesses, especially in expense processing, this new standalone version aims to cater to the growing need for ease in digital expense management. To further support this transition, Yayoi has initiated pre-registration to facilitate a larger number of SMEs in adopting digital solutions specifically for expense management.
Features of Yayoi Keihi Next
AI-Powered Expense Type Prediction
With 'Yayoi Keihi Next', users can simply upload their receipts and invoices, and the AI will automatically read the images to suggest appropriate vendor names and relevant account titles. Users can convenience-upload multiple files—up to 10 files or 20MB in total—which alleviates the need for extensive data entry during month-end applications and reduces the risk of input errors.
Processing Efficiency Through Detection Features
The AI also plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency by detecting duplicate uploads and issuing alerts for missing information. This service mitigates the risk of processing oversights during submissions.
Compliance with Electronic Storage Law
The platform ensures that receipts are compliant with the electronic bookkeeping storage law by assessing whether the uploaded documents meet legal requirements. This feature significantly assists accounting staff without specialized knowledge in confirming that all necessary information is provided for compliant expense submissions.
Pricing Plan
The initial setup fee for 'Yayoi Keihi Next' is zero, with a monthly fee starting from 700 yen per employee for small to medium enterprises (20-300 employees). Additionally, there is an option for professional support during the initial setup for a fee of 100,000 yen.
