Creative Yoko Co., Ltd., headquartered in Nagano, is set to unveil a limited-time pop-up store titled ‘Shirotan Funwari Store’ at the event space outside the south ticket gate of JR Ikebukuro Station. The pop-up will run from November 1 to November 17, 2025.

Shirotan, an adorable original character designed as a ‘horizontal harp seal’, embodies the company's philosophy of comfort, healing, encouragement, and connection. Since its birth in 1999, Shirotan has charmed customers with its soft, cuddle-worthy plush toys, characterized by its round shape and gentle expressions that offer solace to people of all ages.

The theme of this pop-up store is inspired by ‘convenience stores’, integrating the comforting essence of these stores with the delightful world of Shirotan. Visitors can expect to find exclusive items such as mascots and merchandise themed around popular hot snacks and light meals. In addition to these, there will also be festive Christmas items, as well as traditional Japanese New Year products, making this the perfect stop for winter gifts.
