Fashion Source Shenzhen 2024: A Showcase of Trends and Innovations
The 29th Fashion Source Shenzhen and the Shenzhen Original Design Fashion Week reached an impressive conclusion on November 23, 2024, hosted at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. Organized by GL Events-Pengcheng Exhibition and the Shenzhen Apparel Supply Chain Association, this year's event showcased the dynamic and ever-evolving landscape of fashion.
Spanning 70,000 square meters, the three-day exhibition attracted over 1,200 global exhibitors and welcomed over 50,000 visitors from various corners of the world. The momentum of the event was palpable, highlighted by 300 business meetings, nearly 30 fashion shows, and more than 80 engaging activities. Each corner of the event featured themed exhibition areas, such as the FS 25-26AW Knitting Trends and the FS Fashion Sports Trend Zone, focusing on sustainability and innovation in fashion.
Noteworthy Highlights
Among the numerous highlights was the Première Vision Trend Area and the Premier Vision Sustainability Focus Area, showcasing the unity of creativity and technological advancement in today’s fashion industry. A standout feature was also the Cloud Runway, which introduced live streaming and direct sales, bridging the gap between digital media and the tangible experience of fashion shows.
The event also celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Shenzhen Original Design Fashion Week under the theme “Ten Special Moments.” Drawing attention through its 150 designer brands, the week showcased the rich culture and innovative spirit of emerging talents in the Greater Bay Area. The live fashion shows operated at full capacity, presenting collections that transcended mere aesthetics to encapsulate stories of culture, emotion, and art.
One of the standout exhibitions was titled “A Tribute to 100 Years of Fashion,” featuring over 100 fashion illustrations from Yuan Chunran alongside an artistic installation by Li Dashuai. This exhibit reminded attendees of the rich history and evolution of fashion, marrying the past with vibrant present-day styles.

The Chinese Fashion Source Supply Chain Summit, themed “No Limits,” served as a dual platform for dialogue and innovation, hosting more than 50 industry leaders who shared insights at over 30 forums. Topics like sustainable fashion, emerging technologies, and traditional crafts were crucial to the discussions, providing attendees with valuable information on the future direction of the industry.
Zhang Xiangquan, the managing director of GL Events-Pengcheng Exhibition, expressed, “This event marked a significant milestone in resource integration, market expansion, and innovation. Looking ahead, our goal remains to provide a robust platform for businesses to harness new opportunities.”
