From August 8 to 21, 2025, the Tokyo Character Street at Tokyo Station will transform into a whimsical realm dedicated to the beloved original character, Sirotan. This limited-time pop-up store, aptly named the 'Sirotan Fluffy Store,' celebrates Sirotan's birthday and marks its 25th anniversary with a captivating theme: 'Sirotan Quest.' Here, fans will embark on a fluffy and thrilling adventure.

The Charm of Sirotan

Sirotan, designed by Creative Yoko, is a charming seal character symbolizing comfort, healing, and connection. Since its debut in 1999, Sirotan has become a favorite for its soft plush toys and has captured the hearts of many through its soothing persona. This year, the Sirotan Fluffy Store not only commemorates Sirotan’s birthday but also brings to life the adventures that fans have dreamed of.

A Quest Like No Other

The pop-up store will feature RPG-themed retro artwork, inviting visitors into a world that combines nostalgia with vibrant adventure. The area surrounding the store, from the Central Yaesu Exit to the Character Street, will be adorned with designs showcasing Sirotan and its friends, creating an immersive experience reminiscent of a classic role-playing game.

Inside the store, shoppers will find a variety of exclusive merchandise, including adorable mascots, metal keychains, T-shirts, and plush toys. Moreover, customers who spend 3,300 yen or more will receive a special sticker, while those who spend 5,500 yen or more will earn a limited-edition badge. For purchases over 11,000 yen, a commemorative paper bag celebrating Sirotan’s 26th anniversary will be offered, although supplies are limited.

Online purchases will also be available from August 8 through August 24 at the Tokyo Character Street Online Plaza, allowing fans who can’t visit the store to enjoy the same exclusive offers.

Capturing Memories

To enhance the experience, the pop-up store will feature a dedicated QR code that grants access to the 'Sirotan Photo AR' experience. Fans can take virtual photos with Sirotan using their smartphones, making for unforgettable memories.

Additionally, Bistro CLEANTE TOKYO within Tokyo Station will host a collaborative café themed around the 'Sirotan Quest' during the same period. Guests can savor unique dishes, including original recipes and beautifully presented drinks and desserts, all inspired by the enchanting world of Sirotan.

The excitement doesn't stop there! A digital stamp rally will take place, encouraging visitors to explore three locations: the Nozomi Plaza, the Fluffy Store, and the collaborative café. By scanning codes at each spot, participants can collect stamps and earn a special 'wallpaper' reward upon completion—an excellent way to engage with Sirotan’s universe.

Last year, over 9,000 fans visited the event, establishing it as a cherished summer tradition. This year's festivities promise to exceed expectations with engaging experiences across visual, interactive, and culinary dimensions.
