Taylor Hougland Takes Leadership Role at Pella Corporation
Pella Corporation, the renowned window and door manufacturer, has officially announced the appointment of Taylor Hougland as Executive Vice President and Group President of the Business Units, effective April 6, 2026. This strategic move is expected to enhance Pella's portfolio growth and performance across its various product lines.
Taylor Hougland brings a wealth of experience to Pella, having previously managed a multi-billion-dollar business unit at Whirlpool Corporation. His role there encompassed overseeing multiple brands, product lines, and manufacturing operations, which ingrained in him a robust understanding of profit and loss accountability. His expertise spans across critical areas such as product development, sales strategies, merchandising, operations, finance, and corporate strategy – attributes that make him an ideal fit for Pella Corporation.
In his new position, Hougland will report directly to Emily Videtto, the President and Chief Operating Officer of Pella Corporation. "We are thrilled to welcome Taylor to our team. As he steps into this new role, Hougland will oversee the growth strategy and financial performance of several brands within Pella's portfolio, including Pella, Avanti, Bonelli, Burris, CWS, Weather Shield, and Win-Dor. His mandate is not only to bolster the individual brands but also to promote a cohesive approach across the portfolio, ensuring that each brand thrives in its respective market. This strategy emphasizes the importance of consistently delivering innovative, high-quality products and services that cater to the evolving needs of customers and the community.
Hougland's academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, as well as an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. His comprehensive background in mergers and acquisitions investment banking at UBS and private equity at Hammond Kennedy Whitney further adds to his impressive profile.
Taylor Hougland and his family plan to relocate to Pella, Iowa, reflecting their commitment to the local community that Pella Corporation serves. This move underscores the company's mission of creating brighter futures not only for its customers and communities but also for its team members.
