Charichari Collaborates with Buzz Dream FES 2025 for Youth Art Contest
Charichari, a share cycle service based in Fukuoka, has joined forces with local companies and organizations to support the dreams of passionate youth engaged in culture, arts, and creativity. By partnering with the upcoming cultural festival, Buzz Dream FES 2025, Charichari recently conducted an art contest named the "Charichari Buzz Dream Award".
The theme for this contest was "Charichari x Fukuoka," encouraging young artists from elementary school to university to submit their artworks. The response was overwhelming, with a broad range of talent showcased across the age spectrum. After a rigorous evaluation process, the winners were selected, and a ceremony to honor them was held at the Buzz Dream FES 2025 on September 27, 2025. The top winner was granted the Fukuoka Prefectural Board of Education Award and a special opportunity to have their artwork featured on a limited-edition Charichari bicycle that will be running across Fukuoka from October to December this year.
Charichari operates under the mission of creating a new habit for urban mobility, aiming to address local transportation challenges in collaboration with community members and businesses. As a startup rooted in Fukuoka, it aspires to contribute to the vibrancy of the region beyond just transportation.
Collaborating with passionate local entities that share the vision of supporting youth, Charichari aims to provide a platform for aspiring artists to express their talents. This cooperative initiative culminated in the organization of the Buzz Dream FES 2025, designed to showcase young people's enthusiasm and creativity in music, art, and more.
The Charichari Buzz Dream Award is not just about recognizing artistic talent but is also a way for Charichari to bolster the confidence and joy of young participants, empowering them to forge their own paths in the future. From May 19 to August 24, 2025, the contest invited submissions, resulting in a diverse array of artworks that were evaluated by a panel of judges.
