Upcoming Exchange Meeting on Harassment Risks for Management Leaders

Upcoming Exchange Meeting on Harassment Risks for Management Leaders

FeelWorks, a company specializing in training and publishing under the leadership of CEO Takao Maekawa, is hosting an important exchange meeting on May 21st. This event invites individuals from corporate HR, management, and administrative sectors to discuss workplace challenges, focusing specifically on "harassment by superiors." This session will include a mini-lecture by CEO Maekawa, followed by extensive discussions among participants.

Background of the Event

Since the enforcement of the revised Power Harassment Prevention Act in 2020 for large companies (and in 2022 for small ones), organizations are required to establish clear anti-harassment policies, promote awareness internally, provide counseling services, and implement suitable responses to any incidents. While the rate of obvious harassment cases has decreased, the number of consultations related to power harassment due to differences in values and lack of awareness continues to rise.

Many current managers have honed their skills in challenging environments, which sometimes leads to overly strict guidance towards their subordinates. This event aims to reassess the present situation regarding harassment, clarify the backgrounds and challenges that lead to power harassment, and explore strategies for managing associated risks effectively.
