CRE and Fujimino City Sign Disaster Preparedness Cooperation Agreement

On August 17, 2026, CRE Corporation, represented by CEO Tadahide Kameyama, has established a cooperation agreement with Fujimino City, led by Mayor Hiroshi Takahata, aimed at bolstering disaster preparedness activities.

Under this agreement, in the event of a major disaster or potential threat, CRE will provide a portion of the 'LogiSquare Fujimino A & B' facilities as temporary refuge areas for community vehicles upon request from the city. The facilities are designed to serve as temporary water retention sites, capable of storing over 80,000 cubic meters of rainwater through a combination of retention ponds and on-site storage tanks.

The two structures, LogiSquare Fujimino A and B, are located in Fujimino City, Saitama Prefecture. Each building is a four-story steel structure, with LogiSquare Fujimino A covering a total area of 112,340.31 square meters, completed on January 31, 2024, and LogiSquare Fujimino B extending over 114,174.73 square meters, set to be completed on October 15, 2024. These features allow for vehicle shelter at a higher elevation than the surrounding roads, providing an additional safety measure against flooding during emergencies.

This collaboration represents CRE's commitment to supporting community safety in times of crisis. The company aims to leverage its advanced logistics infrastructure to ensure the well-being of local residents through strategic disaster response initiatives. By working together, CRE and Fujimino City look to fortify local disaster preparedness and provide peace of mind to the residents.
