IGEL Appoints Randy Resnick to Drive Adaptive Secure Endpoint Platform Strategy in the U.S.

IGEL Welcomes Randy Resnick

In a significant move for the cybersecurity landscape, IGEL, a global software developer, has appointed Randy Resnick as its Chief Technology Officer for the government and critical infrastructure sectors. Resnick’s extensive background in Zero Trust, cybersecurity, and technical leadership will be instrumental in advancing IGEL’s Adaptive Secure Endpoint Platform™ (IASEP™) strategy.

Background of Randy Resnick

With nearly four decades in technical leadership, Resnick has made substantial contributions in various high-profile roles, including pivotal positions at the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and the National Security Agency (NSA). His recent role as a senior advisor in the Office of Portfolio Management Zero Trust at the DoD saw him spearheading efforts to develop and implement Zero Trust strategies within one of the world’s most complex technology environments.

Resnick was responsible for the original Zero Trust strategy for the DoD and played a key role in creating benchmarking architectures, maturity models, and innovative approaches towards independent assessments. His work has transformed Zero Trust from a theoretical concept into a tangible national security strategy. Previously, he served over 34 years at the NSA, where he held senior technical leadership roles, including as the strategic lead for Zero Trust and the first head of the NSA Red Team.

A Decisive Shift to IGEL

Resnick’s transition from a leading role in national defense to a commercially focused company signifies a powerful endorsement of IGEL’s platform approach. The IGEL Adaptive Secure Endpoint Platform™ aims to address enterprise edge concerns where IT, OT, cloud, applications, container technologies, and artificial intelligence converge. It integrates levels of control, data, and execution, allowing organizations to implement policy, establish trusted onboarding systems, and generate compliance evidence for diverse workloads.

As he steps into his new role, Resnick's mission expands beyond U.S. borders and includes collaborations in NATO countries and in pivotal regions such as Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and the Middle East. He emphasizes that the IASEP™ allows IGEL to apply lessons learned more broadly on enterprise peripheries by unifying trust, resilience, and governance in IT, OT, and new workloads within a framework that organizations can easily implement at scale.

Collaborating for Enhanced Security

In his new capacity, Resnick will work closely with IGEL’s clients, engineering partners, and market entrants to translate the requirements of government and critical sectors into reproducible platform capabilities. His collaborative efforts will integrate the IGEL Ready ecosystem, combining IASEP™ with technological partners specializing in silicon, identity, networking, and AI.

These initiatives are directed toward achieving intricate outcomes in security and operational performance, focusing on identification, segmentation, compliance, and workload isolation, among other essential functionalities.
