Collaboration between WingArc and InfoMart
WingArc1st Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, CEO: Jun Tanaka) and InfoMart Co., Ltd. (also headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, President: Ken Nakajima) have announced a strategic partnership to integrate WingArc's electronic invoicing service, "invoiceAgent", with InfoMart's cloud-based invoice service, "BtoB Platform Invoice". This direct integration will commence in the summer of 2026, marking a significant step forward for both companies in optimizing invoice processing.
Enhanced Efficiency and Integration
The collaboration allows users to continue utilizing their existing systems while enabling them to directly receive invoice data issued through "invoiceAgent" via "BtoB Platform Invoice". This integration effectively eliminates the need for manual handling of physical papers or PDFs, significantly reducing the workload in the invoicing process.
Background of the Collaboration
Recent years have seen an accelerated push for digital transformation (DX) and reforms in work styles, alongside compliance with regulations such as the Electronic Books Preservation Law and the Invoice System. These shifts have led to an increased demand for digital solutions within corporate finance and accounting realms. However, with electronic invoicing services becoming increasingly fragmented, the use of different systems by issuers and recipients has created challenges in achieving streamlined workflows and data integration.
A survey conducted by WingArc in May 2025 revealed that around 80% of respondents identified "inefficiencies due to tool proliferation" as a significant issue. This highlights concerns regarding the operational burden imposed by using multiple services and the associated risk of data leakage.
To address these challenges, the two companies are set to create a framework that enables direct data connectivity across different services, thereby facilitating a "data-to-data (DtoD)" exchange even between companies utilizing distinct systems. This approach will ensure a complete digital workflow from issuance to reception of invoices, driving efficiency in accounting tasks, reducing costs, and preventing errors.
Future Prospects
Beginning with this collaboration, both companies plan to broaden their integration efforts to include additional third-party services, thereby boosting interoperability among electronic invoicing solutions.
Through its "invoiceAgent", WingArc will continually evolve its digital document platform that promotes secure and rapid data exchanges between businesses. Similarly, InfoMart will actively expand direct integrations between "BtoB Platform Invoice" and other electronic invoicing services. This expansion aims to enable all users of the "BtoB Platform Invoice" to receive invoices digitally, regardless of the service utilized by the issuing company. By establishing a centralized platform for invoice data, they aspire to realize a world interconnected through digital data using the "data-to-data (DtoD)" model.
Together, WingArc and InfoMart aim to create a society where seamless data connectivity between businesses is possible, thus contributing to operational efficiency in back-office functions and promoting DX across Japan.
