FREELANDER's Expansion Journey

FREELANDER, a luxury smart off-road vehicle brand, has announced an ambitious expansion into the Middle East and Africa. This exciting move marks a significant step as the brand aims to enter 11 key markets in the Middle East, with largely intensive launch plans for 2027. Morocco, being the first African destination, highlights FREELANDER's strategy to tap into emerging markets in the continent.

The Strategic Expansion

The move involves an extensive market entry into the Middle East with expected commencement in the first half of 2027. The selected markets in the region include:
  • - United Arab Emirates
  • - Kuwait
  • - Qatar
  • - Saudi Arabia
  • - Israel
  • - Iraq
  • - Jordan
  • - Lebanon
  • - Bahrain
  • - Oman
  • - Egypt

This undertaking will transition from initial brand presentations and partnership discussions to establishing sales and service networks across these markets. In the UAE, Al Tayer Motors and Premier Motors have been designated as official dealers for FREELANDER, enhancing the brand's presence and accessibility.

During the FREELANDER Nightfall event held at the Chery International User Summit 2026 in Wuhu, the brand signed new partnership agreements targeting Bahrain and Oman. Furthermore, the eagerly anticipated launch of the FREELANDER 8 is set for the first quarter of 2027 in the UAE.

A Statement from Leadership

Lucia Mao, the CEO of FREELANDER International, articulated the essence of the brand's mission, stating, “For me, making FREELANDER known worldwide means much more than entering new markets. It’s about gaining our customers' trust, day by day. This requires an excellent product, strong local partners, and reliable service.
