Randall T. Decker Takes the Helm as Senior Director of Technology at The WNET Group



On May 6, 2025, The WNET Group, which operates PBS's flagship station THIRTEEN, announced the appointment of Randall T. Decker as the new Senior Director of Technology. Effective immediately, Decker will oversee critical areas such as Infrastructure and Production Technology, alongside Engineering and Broadcast Services. Having spent the last decade consulting for The WNET Group, Decker has been instrumental in fortifying the technological stability and security of the organization. His collaborative efforts with teams across Infrastructure and Production Services have significantly aided in implementing critical projects and initiatives. A Proven Track Record


Before joining The WNET Group, Decker co-founded ZionMason, Inc., a consulting and software development firm known for improving operational efficiencies across various sectors. His prior role at Pfizer, Inc. included significant leadership positions, such as Senior Director of Latin American Operations and Director of U.S./Canadian Regional Facilities Operations. Decker’s impressive career spans nearly three decades, focusing on developing Pfizer's property portfolio and enhancing its operations in 73 locations across 18 countries.

Educational Background


Decker graduated from William Paterson University, earning a degree in Radio and Television/Interpersonal Communications and also holds a degree in Architectural Engineering from Union College of NJ. His diverse educational background, combined with hands-on experience in technology and management, makes him a fitting addition to The WNET Group's leadership team.
