TCL Electronics Holdings Limited has unveiled its non-audited mid-year results for the first half of 2026, showcasing a notable performance amidst a challenging global landscape. The company recorded a 16.4% increase in revenue year-on-year, reaching a total of HKD 63.76 billion. This impressive growth was accompanied by a remarkable 54.3% rise in adjusted profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company, which soared to HKD 1.64 billion.
Key Operational Highlights
TCL's substantial growth can be attributed to its robust operational performance, guided by its strategic focus on globalization and upgrading. The company's television segment witnessed a significant revenue increase of 24.3%, amounting to HKD 35.25 billion. Remarkably, TCL TV secured its position as the second-largest global shipper, with Mini LED television shipments surging by an impressive 77.1%, maintaining their status as the leader in this market segment.
In the realm of internet services, TCL reported a revenue growth of 16.1% year-on-year, reaching HKD 1.69 billion, bolstered by a gross margin increase of 30.4%. The international internet segment experienced a staggering revenue increase of 74.6%, representing over 50% of the total revenue, thus further enhancing the company’s overall profitability with a gross margin of 61.1%.
